Van Eperen Public Relations Names Allison Gebhardt as New Account Coordinator

University of Maryland Honors Student Brings Media Experience and Smarts to Montgomery County Public Relations Firm

ROCKVILLE, Md. – Van Eperen Public Relations (VE PR), www.vepublicrelations.com, a full-service public relations firm in Montgomery County, Md., has named Allison Gebhardt the firm’s Account Coordinator.

Gebhardt recently graduated with honors from the University of Maryland, where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and was active in the Public Relations Student Society of America. Her previous public relations experience includes internships with the City of Rockville Public Information Office, Vocus Media Research Group and another PR firm in Washington, D.C.

At the internship with the City of Rockville, Gebhardt contributed to two monthly newsletters for the citizens and employees of Rockville, as well as compiled a weekly media report for Mayor Larry Giammo and the City Council. Gebhardt also has worked with other media relations professionals and helped to promote large-scale events, such as the ‘America Supports You’ Freedom Walk in Washington, D.C. Gebhardt’s background also includes maintaining relationships with prestigious newspaper editors to update a professional, comprehensive database of media contacts for communications professionals.
